Obituary of Jane Z. Yi

Jane Z. Yi  

Jane Z. Yi, 55, of Schwenksville, PA passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020. 

She was born and raised in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, on November 10, 1964, the daughter of Rongfang He and the late Changhou Yi. She grew up in the midst of the Cultural Revolution and overcame poverty and adversity, admired in childhood as a singer, dancer, and student leader. 

Since coming to the United States in 1986, she lived in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. She became a proud citizen of the United States in 1997. Jane has lived in Schwenksville, PA since 2010, formerly of Raritan, NJ.

She graduated from Sichuan University in China at the age of 20 and received her degrees of Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Rhode Island.

She worked in Quality Control with Almirall, LLC, of Exton, PA. 

Jane was committed to Jesus and a member of Peace Valley Chinese Christian Church of Ft. Washington, PA at the time of her passing. 

She was a deeply idealistic woman with a hunger for beauty, romance, and justice. She lived for her family and her faith. She was the wife of A. Mark Antonio. 

Survivors include Husband Mark Antonio of Schwenksville, PA, Daughter Margaret Zhang of Philadelphia, PA, Daughter Elena Yi of Tacoma, WA, Daughter Annabelle Yi, of New Orleans, LA, Son Alexander Yi of Schwenksville, PA, Step Son Mark Antonio of Middletown, DE, Step Son Vincent Antonio of Middletown, DE, Brother Zhigang Yi of Chengdu, China, Sister Qin Yi of Chengdu, China, Mother Rongfang He of Chengdu, China, and also survived by a Grandson, Arthas Zhang.

Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 12:00 PM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norristown, PA 19401. Friends may call on Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.

Her interment will be private.
