Obituary of Lucia S. Noriega de Ruiz

Lucia S. Noriega de Ruiz, age 98, of Skippack, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at her home.

She was born in Pucallpa, Peru on December 13, 1921, the daughter of the late Gregorio and the late Nativida (de la Cruz) Noriega.

Lucia has been living in Skippack for 13 years.  She was of the Pentecostal faith.  She was a talented seamstress, a talent she passed onto her daughters.  Most of all, she was a loving and devoted mother to her children.    

She was the wife of the late Mariano Ruiz.

Lucia is survived by nine children, Maria Gloria (the late Josef) Altmann, Ida Rios (& Porfirio Ochoa), Ernesto Ruiz (& Nancy Sandoval), Mariano Ruiz (& Teresa Martel), Merli Sherid, Nomer Ruiz (& Carmen Aguilar), Omer Ruiz (& Liliana Palacios), Eder Ruiz (& Rosa Fernandez), and Manuel Ruiz (& Patricia Chia). 

She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

Along with her husband and parents, Lucia was preceded in death by two daughters, Rosa Fachin Noriega and Leila Guerrero; as well as her brothers and sisters.   

Due to present public health concerns, services will be held privately with entombment to take place in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA.
