Obituary of Edith A. Walker

Edith A. Walker, age 86, formerly of Norristown, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 13, 1934, the daughter of the late Walter and Amy (Hamilton) Walker of Carrickfergus, N. Ireland. Sister of deceased brother, Hubert Walker, Santa Ana, California.

Edith has been living in Elkton, MD, for 5 years with her beloved daughter. Most of her life she lived in Montgomery County and worked as a Legal Secretary for 29 years at Wisler Pearlstein, of Blue Bell, PA.

Edith enjoyed reading, watching movies, travel, tea with scones and plenty of butter, talking with her children over a cigarette, as well as spending time with her beloved dog/friend, Jack, a Bernese Mountain dog.

She is survived by two sons, Andy Williams and Jeffrey (& Kelley) Williams; two daughters, Susan Williams (& Thomas Howley) and Heather Cook; as well as seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426. Her Memorial Service will follow on Monday morning at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home.

Interment will take place in Valley Forge Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.
