Due to family illnesses Dolores' Viewing and Mass are canceled and her funeral mass will be rescheduled.

  

Her Private Interment will take place at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA on Friday Dec. 18, 2020 at 11:45 AM.   

  

Dolores A. ( Crossin ) Ahern, 97, passed away December 11, 2020 peacefully at home while surrounded by family.

 

Dolores, formerly of Millbourne, PA, lived in Plymouth Meeting, PA for the past three years and was a member of Our Mother of Consolation RC Church in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia. 

  

Dolores was born in South Philadelphia on February 21, 1923, the daughter of the late Andrew and the late Ella ( Maum ) Crossin. She was the youngest of 9 children, all of whom preceded her in death.  

 

Dolores worked at Bell Telephone Company for over 28 years, working her way from a switchboard operator to a Business Customer Training Manager. She was also a proud member of the Bell Pioneers. 

 

Dolores was the wife of the late Timothy A. Ahern, happily married for 61 years. Survivors include daughter Dolores (the late John) Santini of Plymouth Meeting, PA, son Br. Timothy A. Ahern, III, F.S.C. of Lincroft, NJ, daughter Monica (& Charles) Convery of Downingtown, PA; grandchildren Jason (& Nikki) Santini, Kristin (& Joey) Manning, and Evan (& Julia) Santini; and great grandchildren Jack, Gianna, John, Lucy, Evan, Jr., Joseph, Leo and Matthew.

Her Private Interment will take place at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA on Friday Dec. 18, 2020 at 11:45 AM.   

  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: the Christian Brothers, Saint LaSalle Auxiliary, 850 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, NJ 07738.
