Obituary of George T. Leahy

George T. Leahy, age 76, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 21, 1944, the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Paull) Leahy.

George lived most of his life in the Olney section of Philadelphia.  

He is survived by his wife, Andrea J. Leahy (nee Smutnik) of Philadelphia; two sons, Tim Leahy of Chicago, IL and Mike (& Jeanine) Leahy of Mesa, AZ; three brothers, William (& Mary Agnes) Leahy, Patrick (& Kathleen) Leahy, and Robert Leahy; granddaughter, Sara (& Chris) Lofton; grandson, Christopher Leahy; and great granddaughter, Maeci Lofton.  

Relatives and friends are invited to his Graveside Service on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1:00PM at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.  Please meet at the belltower entrance of the cemetery.  

The family would like to thank the caregivers and ambulance drivers from the Germantown Branch of InnoVage Life Program for their care for George throughout his illness.
