Lorraine J. McPeek
Lorraine J. (Boardman) McPeek, 79, of Ambler, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, January 4, 2021. Born March 18,1941, and raised in Easton PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and the late Mary ( Mensky ) Boardman.
A graduate of Easton High School class of 1959, Lorraine was known for her bright smile and gentle nature. Throughout her life, she worked in sales as a cosmetic consultant for Estee Lauder, a Real Estate agent for Caparo Realty in Conshohocken, as a Marketing Representative for CCDirect Marketing in Allentown, and as a salesperson at Urban Renewal in North Wales, where her clients were drawn to her easygoing and magnetic personality.
Lorraine was a homemaker for most of her life, and her self-proclaimed greatest achievement was raising her two daughters. Her house was the favorite place to be, according to the neighborhood kids, and she loved having them there. She enjoyed long walks, the beach, and traveling with her friends. She would strike up conversations with strangers, and treated everyone she met with warmth and respect.
She is survived by the father of her children, Brian McPeek of Bath, PA; daughter Colleen (& Tom ) Foglia of Gwynedd Valley, PA; daughter Amy (& Christian) Barrie of Wayne, PA; her grandchildren Alexis (Foglia) Guss (& Ryan), Thomas Foglia IV, Madyson Foglia and Brooke Barrie; and her brothers-in-law Barry (& Gayle) McPeek of Reynoldsburg, OH; Richard McPeek of Bethlehem, PA; and Ronald (& Joan) McPeek of Bethlehem, PA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Lorraine's Life will be planned for a later date, when social distancing limits and pandemic conditions improve.
Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to Artman Lutheran Home Benevolent Care Fund or Covid 19 Care Fund, 250 North Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, Pa 19002.
