I am so very sorry for the loss of your wonderful Mom. What a truly nice, kind soul she had. Her beautiful girls exemplify all of the loving, caring traits that Lucy possessed. Rest peacefully, with your dear Ted, our dear Lucy, You left one heck of an impression in so many hearts during your time here with us!

Lucy, My unofficial Mother In law. who welcomed & embraced Me & Jackson into the Tate family. I wanted to take a moment to share your impact & express what regretfully wasn't able too. You raised 4 Beautiful girls, with 1daughter that has such pure simalir traits as you that I'm especially thankful for. I will miss your many acts of kindness, delicious cooking, & your Italian wit. I will continue to watch over your girls & help anyway i can. Tomorrow we all will gather to share how much you touched us all, not to say goodbye, but to celebrate your life. we'll go on with our individual memories & I'll end this by my fondest & our favorite DUO. Sometimes the world is a Vally of Heartaches & tears, & in the Hustle & Bustle no sunshine appears. But you & I have our love always there to remind us, There is a way we can leave all the shadows behind Us. VOLARE, OH,OH CANTARE OH, OH, OH.....

So many memories of your mom, but my favorite will always be her cursing (with love), and running us all over while vacuuming like a mad woman! I was lucky to have her as part of my childhood. Love you girls!

Karen, Ang, Chris and Carol...words cannot begin to express how sorry I am for all of you. I have so many memories coming back as I sit here and type this...the game room, the dinners, “cleaning day” on the weekends when I slept over...the way your mom would call everyone out on their crap (especially me) with a huge smile and laugh. I truly loved her and all of you. I wish I hadn’t lost touch like I did...your family was mine when I moved to Broomall and came to Saint Annie’s. Kar, you embraced me and were my best friend in the world...your mom welcomed me with open arms and always yelled at me like I was one of her own...and it made me feel like I belonged and made me feel so special. I truly wish I could have had the relationship you did with her, with my own mother. I’m sure you’re ridiculously heartbroken, but take comfort in the fact you had the relationship with her that you did when she was here. Many of us aren’t that lucky. She was an incredible woman who raised four incredible women. I love you all and hope time heals your pain. I wish I could. Lisa

Chrissy, Angela, Carol and Karen, our deepest of sympathy girls, I know you will miss your Mom. She was so full of life. I bowled with her when I first came into the neighborhood. She was so sweet. I saw her last about a year ago driving in the neighborhood, I was outside and she stopped and chatted, I asked her what she was doing and she said “ just reminiscing”. Love to you all Kay and John Makatche and family Julie, Shawn Bart and Jen
