Obituary of Andrew A. Adamcik

Andrew A "Sonny". Adamcik, formerly of Bridgeport, PA passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Mercy Suburban Hospital in East Norriton, Pa. He was 67. Born in Norristown, PA on April 25, 1948, he was a son of the late Andrew J and Mary ( Dolga) Adamcik. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Agnes (Boehm) Adamcik. He has been residing at Towne Manor West Nursing Center in East Norriton, Pa. for the past two years. He was a 1966 graduate of the former Bishop Kenrick High School of Norristown. A veteran of the US Army, Andrew served in the "Big Red One" Infantry Division in Vietnam in 1967 & 1968. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star & Purple Heart. He was previously employed by Extracorporeal (Johnson & Johnson) Medical Company & was also employed with the office staff at St. Mathews Catholic Church in Conshohocken, Pa. He was a member of the V.F.W Post 1074 in Conshohocken, Pa. Andrew's Funeral Service and Interment were held privately at the convenience of his family.
