Michael, James and Chris and your families, I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. What a wonderful fun loving Mother and friend. I was lucky to have known her almost all of my life. I spent summers with my Grandparents two doors over and lived there once I graduated. That is when I grew even closer to Dottie. We had so many fun times and memories. She was like a second Mother to me in a lot of ways. We could talk for hours and laugh and carry on. We even created our own Wine of the week club... Once I moved away from that area I would try to visit her whenever I went down to see my Grandparents or my Uncle and we would sit and chat for hours. When I would stop by she was always out in her garden and taking care of her flowers and plants. My oldest daughter got to know her as well and loved her as I did. We would exchange Christmas cards back and forth every year. I looked forward to receiving them. She always made me smile and laugh and helped me through a lot. We all had some really fun times together. This brings such sadness to my heart. Rest in Peace beautiful lady. Love Always Tina Lapent

My condolences to Michael, James, Christopher and family. I have often thought of my Aunt Dot with great affection throughout my life. She and Uncle Al were wonderful relatives when I was growing up.
