Obituary of Bernadette M. Barry

Bernadette M. Barry, age 86, of Royersford, PA passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 30, 1934, the daughter of the late Jack and Elsie (Hoover) Potts.

Bernadette lived most of her life in Norristown before moving to Royersford in 2016.  She was a member of St. Patrick's RC Church.  Bernadette was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.  She was a true "people person" and enjoyed her job at Bove Family Chiropractic until her retirement.  She especially loved spending time with her family.  

She was the wife of the late Philip Barry.

She is survived by her daughter, Marlene (the late Nathaniel) Mathis; two granddaughters, Nicole (& Roland) Roberts and Ashley Mathis (& Brendan Kirby); and two great grandsons, Michael Mathis and Isaac Roberts.  

Her Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 10:30 AM from St. Francis of Assisi Church, 600 Hamilton Street, Norristown, PA 19401.  Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church.   

Interment will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.
