Obituary of Leonard N. Roberge

Leonard N. Roberge, age 82, of Gilbertsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.

He was born in Norton, Massachusetts on December 31, 1938, the son of the late Gerard and Clementine (Dion) Roberge.

Len lived in Norton, Mass., North Attleboro, Mass., North Falmouth, Mass. and Kennebunk, Maine, before moving to Gilbertsville, PA, where he has lived for five years.

He graduated from Coyle High School in 1956 and from Northeastern University in 1967.  He enjoyed a 16-year career with Engelhard Industries.  Later, Len owned Swift and Fisher, Inc., manufacturer of religious goods.  

A devout Catholic, Len was a faithful and active parishioner of St. Teresa of Calcutta RC Church.  He was a Knight of Columbus.  

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Lynn A. Roberge (nee LaRosee) of Gilbertsville; 

daughter, Giselle (& Harvey) Ko of Ellicott City, MD;

two sons, Christopher (& Elizabeth) Roberge of Oley, PA and Matthew (& Susan) Roberge of Harleysville, PA;

two sisters, Anita Bissonnette of Portsmouth, RI and Lucille Charette of Norton, Mass.;

11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Len was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Janson; 

siblings, Irene Patriquin, Gerard "Stu" Roberge, Florence Amaral, and Roland "Butch" Roberge;

and great grandson, Gerard Gaspar.  

His Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM in St. Teresa of Calcutta RC Church, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the church prior to Mass.  

Interment will take place in Schwenksville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Len's name to St. Teresa of Calcutta Church.
