Obituary of Charles J. Yeager, III

Charles J. Yeager, III, 58, of Collegeville, PA passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021. 

 

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 14, 1962, the son of the late Charles J. and Grace (Hill) Yeager, Jr.  Chuck has lived in Collegeville, PA for the last 10 years, formerly of Trooper, Conshohocken and Norristown and graduated from Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School in 1980 as well as earned his BA at Kutztown University.

 

Chuck was retired but his career was working at Fox 29 as a Television Technician and part-time DJ.  Chuck enjoyed playing board games, fishing, gardening, cooking for his family and friends and bragging about how proud he was of his daughters and their accomplishments.

 

Chuck was the husband of Kathleen (Malone) Yeager and the proud father of daughters Abigail and Emily Yeager of Collegeville, PA.  Chuck is also survived by his mother Grace Yeager of Royersford, PA, Brother Joseph (& Denise) Yeager of Bensalem, PA, Brother In Law Robert (& Rita) Malone of Bel Air, MD, Brother In Law Thomas (& Sheila) Malone of Warminster, PA, Sister In Law Joanne (& William) Allen of Myrtle Beach, SC, Brother In Law Walter (& Lisa) Malone of Lincoln University, PA, also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

 

Family and Friends may call on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 9:30  to 11:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA. 

 

His Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.

 

Interment will be private. 

 

Chuck did not want to be mourned, but wanted his life celebrated.  He was not a fan of formal wear, but loved casual and was a big fan of Hawaiian shirts.  To celebrate Chuck’s life, the family is requesting (not mandatory) that visitor’s wear their favorite Hawaiian or floral print shirt to celebrate Chuck’s life.
