Obituary of Butch Galm

Charles J. "Butch" Galm, age 75, of Perkiomenville, PA passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021.

He was born in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia, PA on September 11, 1945, the son of the late Charles Galm and the late Elsie M. (Fair) McDermott.  

Butch has been living in Perkiomenville since 1976, formerly of Collegeville, PA.  He was a social member of the former VFW Post 780 of Pottstown.  Butch loved spending time fishing.  

He was the husband of the late Barbara D. (Healy) Galm.  

He is survived by his daughter, Charlotte (& William) Moore of Perkiomenville; two sisters, Dawn Caruano and Sandie Fair; three granddaughters, Melanie, Sophia & Lillian; as well as nieces and nephews.  

Along with his wife and parents, Butch was preceded in death by his baby daughter, Diane Galm; and son, James D. Galm.   

His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 10:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.  Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home.  

Interment will be private in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.  

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
