I remember Mary Lou in motion. Almost never sitting, but bustling from one place to another. Getting something for people to eat or drink, plumping pillows,. off to Zumba, or the store. Even with a walker she never seemed still, but temporary alight, like a bird on a branch. She has flown off leaving a hole much bigger than she was. May you remember her in her swift movements, in grace, generosity, happiness, and sharp infrequent wit.

I am sorry I never had the chance to meet your Mother, especially after hearing ALL the lovely stories you shared with me about her and your family. I’ll never forget the day I heard her voice on a phone call with you…it was the sweetest, most angelic voice calling you sweetheart so many times and speaking to you with such love and adoration. May you and your family find peace, comfort and strength during this difficult time through the warmth and caring of one another.
