Obituary of Eric S. DiCianno

Eric S. DiCianno, 53, of Lafayette Hill, PA, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021, after he lost his battle with a GBM. 

He was active all his life running track for the University of Miami and then later triathlons, even completing an Iron Man and an Ultra Marathon where he ran 75 miles in one day. He could build anything he set his mind to. He loved working and sailing on his boat, Sylkee, including offshore sailing from Miami to the Chesapeake. He was so very funny and loving. He loved to make up funny songs about his family members and playing the guitar, which he could not play. Always quick with a movie quote to test your knowledge. Smart and savvy, he built financial software for Fortune 500 companies. His mark will be left for years to come, and he will be so very missed by his family and many friends.  

He was born in Philadelphia, PA, on September 21, 1967, the son of Victoria (Vitale) DiCianno and the late Ralph DiCianno.

Eris has lived in Lafayette Hill for the last 16 years, formerly of Flourtown and Florida.  He grew up in the Andorra section of Philadelphia.

He graduated from LaSalle College High School class of 1985 and the University of Miami class of 1989.

He worked as a Chief Information Officer with the Hackett Group. 

He was the husband of Lara (Stene) DiCianno.

Survivors include Wife Lara DiCianno of Lafayette Hill, PA, daughter; Darian DiCianno of New York, NY, son; Luke DiCianno of Lafayette Hill, PA, mother; Victoria DiCianno of Andorra, PA, sister; Vicki Pilgrim of Philadelphia, PA, sister; Rafaela Tulio of Lafayette Hill, PA also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.

His service and interment will be private.
