What can you say about this man? For all of us that had the honor and privilege to know Mr Stemple, he personified what life and sports are all about. In my time working with him through the Ss Cosmas & Damian Cyo Program I enjoyed talking to him about sports, life qnd just being around him. He truly cared for all whom had the privilege of either playing for him or working with him.whatver the conversation was about I have always and I mean always to be enlightened and learned something everything we interacted. From the athletic front I got to see how much he truly cared about all he was entrusted to guide athletically. He was a beacon of light to all and a true gentleman. His qualities as a teacher, coach, mentor, and friend are what all of us should strive to be. He truly will be missed by so many of us but our memories of him will live within all who knew him. My sincerest sympathies go out to his family at this time. Thankyou for sharing him with all of us. We are all the better for that.

Mr Stemple, you were always the best at seeing the best in others. You were part of the West Conshy community. Without you many of us would not have had a mentor for sports like you. And yes, I did and do break 100 in my golf game!! LOL. He asked me once, "you play do you, do you break 100?" Me: A yeah, at the the time, I could tell him I never even played a full 18 holes that much, I couldn't afford it. But I knew what he meant and until this day I never forget what he said back; "you let me know, when you break 100, then we will talk." He knew I was not telling the truth that day!! Always pushing for better!! I will keep at it, Mr Stemp! All the best to you and your wonderful family! Sincerely, Jimmy Bowe

Mr. Stemple was the best and my most favorite basketball coach I ever had. He was so patient and kind to me and taught me so much about the game. I will always have a special place in my heart for him and it was a sad day for me hearing the news of his passing.
