Obituary of Timothy D. Owen

Timothy D. Owen, age 74, of Trappe, PA passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

He was born in Midina, New York on May 15, 1947, the son of the late Merlin Owen and Florence Boris.

Tim was a disabled Veteran who served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.  He worked as a military trauma counselor for the Department of Veterans Affairs and in private practice, specializing in EMDR.

He was the husband of the late Joan (Fiel) Owen.   

Tim is survived by three step children, Joan (& Fred) Price, Carl (& Morgen) Righter, and Richard (& Malou) Righter; grandchildren, Erin, Wendy, Liam, Paul and Michelle; and two great grandchildren.  

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM in the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.  

Interment with Military Honors will follow at 2:30 PM in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940.
