Obituary of Christina A. Zielke

Christina A. Zielke, age 62, of Doylestown, PA passed away peacefully from Parkinson’s Disease on Saturday, November 13, 2021 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 5, 1959, the daughter of Anne (Hofknecht) Votto and the late Ronald S. Votto.

Christina was raised in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia and has been living in Doylestown since 1980. She was devoted to her family and her faith.  When her children were young, Christina loved volunteering her time as a homeroom mom, chaperone for school trips and team mom. She enjoyed traveling and spending summers with her family, in Avalon, NJ.  As her disease progressed her faith gave her the courage to love like no other. She was a beacon of light when surrounded by her family and friends.

Christina was a founding member of the New Beginnings Church in Jamison, PA and member of the church choir. 

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Wayne J. Zielke of Doylestown;

mother, Anne Votto of Doylestown;

two sons, Wayne Zielke, Jr. and Michael Zielke, both of Doylestown;

daughter, Jaclyn Zielke-Jackson (& Ken Jackson) of Perkasie;

brother, Ronald (& Shelley) Votto of Bryn Mawr;

sister, Lori (& David) Pflug of Doylestown;

and her grandson, James.

Christina is also survived by her mother in-law, Regina Zielke of Doylestown;

brother in-law, Joseph (& Maureen) Zielke of Doylestown;

and sister in-law, Jeanmarie (& Richard) Mattock of Allen, TX. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday morning November 20, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Good Shepard Chapel at Limerick Garden of Memories.

Her Funeral Service will be held afterwards at 12:00 PM in the Good Shepherd Chapel at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 E. Arcadia Drive, Limerick, PA 19468. 

Entombment will follow in the adjoining mausoleum.
