Dolores M. Lare  

 

Dolores M. (Byrnes) Lare, 64, of Schwenksville, PA passed away Friday, November 19, 2021.

Dolores was born December 31, 1956 in Norristown, PA to the late Joseph and the late Olga (Niess) Byrnes. She has been living in Schwenksville for the last 3 years, formerly of Harleysville and Norristown where she was raised.

She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lansdale, PA.

Dolores graduated from Bishop Kenrick High School, class of 1974. She received her B.S. from St. Joseph's University and her Master’s in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Dolores spent over 40 years working in leadership roles within the banking industry, most recently as a Partner at Patriot Financial Partners, LP.

She also served as a chairperson of the Board at Montgomery County Community College Foundation and the Jackie Agnes Foundation. Both organizations provide financial assistance for education which was a passion of hers.

Dolores was the wife of Charles G. "Bud" Lare.

Dolores always made an effort to ensure everyone felt included, heard, and seen. She loved hosting family and friends both at her and Bud’s home and at their shore house in Sea Isle City, NJ. Dolores especially enjoyed new experiences and adventures, most notably exploring New York City. Many people she knew were brought along for the ride at one time or another. She lived life to the fullest and will be missed by many. 

In addition to her husband, Bud, Dolores is survived by her daughter Jessica (Cassel) of Philadelphia, PA, her sisters Patricia Manzo (Walnutport, PA), Marie (Barr) Anderson (Telford, PA), and Susan Tomczuk (East Norriton, PA), her brother Edward Byrnes (Huffman, TX), and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews that she loved dearly. Dolores was predeceased by her sisters Marjorie Mincarelli, Bridget Falcone, and Lynne Byrnes.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, November 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA. Interment will be private.
