Dear grandpa, I don’t know if I ever got to share with you just how much I truly love you, how much you mean to me, and above all, how much I’m going to miss you. Every visit with you was the anticipated event of the year. We loved knowing grandpa John was coming to town. Your humor is unmatched and runs deep in the sarcastic veins of your grandchildren who can only hope to be as witty as you one day. You took us to the park when we were young, we wrote letters to each other during my high school years, and went on many adventures as an adult. You never failed to attend a major milestone in our lives. You are truly the definition of an incredible grandfather. I’m grateful to all the beautiful memories I share with you and can’t wait to be together again. My heart is full of love for you grandpa. Love, your favorite first granddaughter
