Don was a fantastic teacher and great human being. The world was a better place with Don in it. Now heaven is a better place. I'll bet Don is giving lessons up there all day long.
Thanks for all your help and guidance.

Michele, I worked for Son's dad from 1965 to 1975. I watched Donnie grow up for all that time. We played together with the juniors at Plymouth. Had a lot of fun. When off he came to the course with his Dad and I had to Waite till dark when he would finish. I would drive him home. Great kid. Now I see what a great person he turned out to be. Does not surprise me. My best to you.

I was wondering if the family had picked a date for the memorial service that was mentioned in his obituary. I went to grade school and high schools with Don and would like to attend any memorial.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Don. Prayers to his family for your loss. I would go to Don just about every year for a tune up golf lesson and he was just the best. I so appreciated his teaching style, his knowledge and his encouragement. There is no question he will be missed by many. Don was a true professional and gentleman.

Don will be truly missed. Anything that was good in my golf game I can attribute to Don’s immeasurable patience. He never tried to change your game, but he took what was good in your game and made it better. He always praised the good and made you feel you could really accomplish something. May the links in heaven be blessed by his presence. Thank you,Don.
