Obituary of John H. Loughridge

John H. "Jack" Loughridge  

John H. Loughridge, 99, of Lafayette Hill, PA passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 18, 1922, the son of the late Jonathan Edwards Loughridge and the late Dorothy (Halsted) Loughridge.

He was a self-employed Realtor with Loughridge Real Estate.

Jack served during World War II in the Marine Corps.

He was an Elder and long time member of The Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill in Chestnut Hill, Pa. and he coordinated a Men's Luncheon at the church for many years.

Jack was a member and Past President of the C.P.W. Rotary Club.  He was a member of the East Montgomery County Board of Realtors, a member of the Masonic Lodge in Chestnut Hill, and the LuLu Shriner's of Plymouth Meeting.

He was the husband of the Late - Martha B. (Boyd) Loughridge.

Survivors include son, John H. Loughridge, Jr. of Winston -Salem, NC; daughter, Wendy B. (& Robert) Inman of Wilmington, NC; son, Jeffrey J. Loughridge of Lafayette Hill, PA; and son, Christopher B. (& Marian) Loughridge of Endwell, NY.  He is also survived by six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a brother James Barry Loughridge.

His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill, 8855 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA.

Interment will be private in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.
