Obituary of J. Peter van der Kam

J. Peter van der Kam, age 83, of King of Prussia, PA passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022.

He was born in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina on March 8, 1938, the son of the late Jan Harm and Geeske Catharina (van Dinter) van der Kam.

Mr. van der Kam lived in Berwyn, PA for 30 years before moving to King of Prussia.  He enjoyed sailing on the Chesapeake Bay.  

He is survived by his wife, Nora (Güdel) van der Kam of King of Prussia, and son, Harald P. (& Flora) van der Kam of Collegeville; and sister, Mariana de Wolde from the Netherlands.

Along with his parents, he was recently preceded in death by his son, Gregor John van der Kam.  

His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday, March 5 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home.  

Interment will be private.
