Virginia T. Galloway  

Virginia T. (Turner) Galloway, 93, of Plymouth Meeting, PA passed away peacefully Friday, March 4, 2022, at Elm Terrace Gardens in Lansdale where she lived and enjoyed the companionship of many friends.

She was born in Plymouth Township, Pa on September 1, 1928, the daughter of the late Walter and the late Helen (Curry) Turner.

Virginia lived most of her life in Plymouth Meeting, and Lafayette Hill, Pa and then most recently Lansdale, PA

She was a 1946 Graduate of Norristown High School. 

She worked as an Adminisrative Assistant before retiring from the Markel Corporation in Norristown. 

She was preceded in death by her late husband Robert D. Galloway.

She is survived by her daughter Bunnie Walker of Plymouth Meeting, Pa, daughter Susan (Robert) McLaughlin of Worcester, Pa, and her sister Carol (James) Baker of Monument, Colorado, and sister Margery, widow of John Boorse of Plymouth Meeting,Pa.  She is also survived by her grandson Scott Walker, and Great Grandsons Brandon and Tyler Walker. Also surviving are several nephews, nieces and great nieces and great nephews.

Virginia enjoyed reading, gardening and later in life became an avid Phillies and Sixers fan. Her quick wit and kindness will be missed by many.

Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Friends may call on Wednesday, March 9,2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
