So sorry to hear of my Godmother's passing. We spoke only once since she moved to Shannondell. We had kept in touch up to that time. As next-door neighbors, the Shaffers were always kind to us Bingham kids, whether inviting us in for a snack or even inviting us to family Christmas parties later on.

I have fond memories of Mary Ann since we worked together at Bell Telephone of Pa for many years. She was always upbeat and ready to tell a story or joke with a good laugh for all. Mary Ann was a great neighbor. I think us neighborhood kids drive her nuts most of the time, but she lived us. We would run through her yard and she would always catch us by surprise and say what are ya kids doing? We would scream and she would laugh. She watched us all grow up and always asked mom how we were doing. I enjoyed pop over when I visited my parents and saying hi. She will be missed.

I remember sitting in the pew behind Mary Ann @ St. Matthew's. We always attended 7:30AM Mass. She and I would greet each other, and shared a lingeriing hand shake during "Peace Be With You". When we had music at the early mass, Mary Ann would always turn to me and tell me I have the voice of an angel. I really loved seeing Mary Ann at church and I am truely blessed to have had her life touch my life. Rest in Peace sweet lady. Denise Coletta Neuschwander

I remember a lot of fun memories and good times. With my Aunt Mary Krout and Maryann at my Aunts cabin. Also many dinners at Maryann’s house. I was about 12 when I met Maryann she was like another Aunt to myself, wife and by kids. We will miss her and our prayers go out to the family.
