Obituary of Margaret R. Donovan

Margaret R. Donovan  

 

Margaret R. (Watson) Donovan, 91, of Plymouth Twp., PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 6, 2022

She was born in Conshohocken, Pa on August 31, 1930, the daughter of the late James E. and the late Mary (McCloskey) Watson.

Margaret has lived in Plymouth Twp., Pa since 1982, formerly of Norristown and Conshohocken, Pa.

She graduated from St. Matthew's High School, class of 1948 and she was a Member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken, Pa. 

She worked with C & D Battery until her retirement in 1992.

She loved her family especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Margaret always got a laugh out of all the compliments she got for her Famous brownies.

She enjoyed the Phillies, Bingo, Casino's and her game show channel.  She was a member of Labor Lyceum Seniors, St. Mary's Golden Agers and the Fellowship Seniors.  She really enjoyed spending time with all the friends she met. 

 

She was the wife of Late - Andrew J. Donovan.

 

Survivors include, Daughter Karen Ann Donovan of Plymouth Twp., Pa,  Son James Donovan of Plymouth Twp., Pa, Grandchildren Andrew J. (& Katie) Donovan, and Krista (& Thomas) Hunsicker, and her Great Grandsons Lucas Thomas Hunsicker and Andrew J. Donovan, VI, and her Beloved Grand Dog Angie.

 

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a Son and Daughter In Law Andrew and Nancy Donovan, brother James Watson, sisters Dorothy Zaleski, Betty Manzi, Marian Cressman, Charlotte Watson and Claire Famous. 

 

Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 at 11:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

 

Friends may call on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the funeral home.

 

Interment will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, Pa.
