Obituary of June B. Marshall

June B. Marshall, age 96, of East Norriton, PA peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Brightview Senior Living, surrounded by family and friends.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 13, 1925, the daughter of the late William A. "Bill" Brady and the late Kathryn (Devitt) Brady. June grew up and raised her family in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia, then moved to East Norriton where she has lived for 25 years.

June was proud of her training as an Army Cadet Nurse during World War II.  She graduated from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in 1946, and achieved a long-held goal of earning her BS in Psychology from Philadelphia University in 1979. She had a long career in nursing, serving as Director of Nursing at Simpson House in Philadelphia as well as working in occupational health in the manufacturing and banking sectors.

She was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church of Blue Bell; in her younger years, she loved singing in the choir. June loved reading mysteries, watching old movies, knitting mittens for charity, and supporting the Phillies.

June was devoted to and loved being around her family. She was happily married for 40 years to the late Lloyd F. Marshall, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (& Rob) Das; son, Glenn B. (& Lauren) Marshall; and three grandchildren, Steven (& Shima) Das, Jillian Marshall, and Douglas Marshall.

Along with her husband and parents, June was preceded in death by two sons, Baby Lloyd F. Marshall, III and Michael P. Marshall; as well as her brother, William A. Brady, Jr.

Her Memorial Service and celebration of her 97 years of life will be held on Saturday June 18 at 11:00 am at Grace Baptist Church, 437 W. Skippack Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422.  Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 10 am to 11 am at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church.

Arrangements by Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA, (610) 277-1600.
