I've known Mrs. Krause for quite a few years, as she always had a smile to greet you with. Such a beautiful person, gone too soon, but will never be forgotten. Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Krause family,

Wendy & I taught group lessons together @ Colonial Elementary School for many years; she as a special education teacher and I as a speech & language therapist. We had great fun with the children we both loved. But perhaps the most fun we had was with each other, given our wildly different personalities. As blunt and outspoken as I could be, Wendy was as sweet, patient and measured as she could be. She would often shoot a side-look at the students and say, “Oh Ms. Sives…the things you say!”, making sure they understood my sense of humor. She cared about her students as if they were her own, and the kids knew it. We balanced each other out beautifully, and group speech with Wendy was an activity I looked forward to all week. I think we both did. Wendy was simply one of the kindest, most caring people I have ever known. It was an honor to work with her, and an even bigger honor to be able to call her my friend. I will miss her forever.

My dearest Wendy, you will forever be in my heart. Our childhood family memories run deep and strong bringing me comfort. Prayers of peace to Keith and family. Uncle Bob and Aunt Karen, the love we have for our beloved Wendy will bring us comfort for the days ahead.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Krause family. Wendy was a beautiful, sweet person. We lived in the same neighborhood in Harleysville and coincidentally both moved to Trappe where our children attended school together. We enjoyed chatting with Wendy at sporting events and school functions. She seemed to brighten up a room and was so proud of her children. We wish strength for her family during this very sad time. God bless.

We'll always remember that beautiful day outside when Wendy came over and expressed how much she loved living in her new home and neigborhood. She had such an infectious and magical smile that we'll sorely miss. So sorry for your loss.

Wendy was my mentor for my first year of teaching in Colonial school district. She was very well respected by her colleagues as she had such a postive impact on many young students. It was wonderful to meet up again years later as our boys played ball together. Our Prayers are with the Krause family as we are so sorry for your loss!
