Gary J. Andress, Sr.  

Gary J. Andress, Sr., 81, of Cape May, NJ passed away Monday, November 28, 2022.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pa on January 8, 1941, the son of the late Joseph E. and the late Sarah "Sally" (Algard) Andress.

Gary has been living in Cape May since 1999, formerly of Wallingford, and Ridley where he grew up.

He was a Steamfitter with Local #420, where he retired after 37 years and continued as a retired member for 60 years.

After retiring from the steamfitters he worked at the Coast Guard Station in Cape May for 5 years. 

He was the husband of Late - Faith (Hatton) Andress.

Survivors include Son Gary Andress, Jr. of Wallingford, Pa, Son Mark (& Lori) Andress of Glenside, Pa, Daughter Coleen (& Kurt) Ruch of Newtown, Pa, Son Sean (& his late wife Kelly) Andress of Flourtown, Pa, also survived by his grandchildren Zachary Andress, Emily Ruch, Siobhan Andress, Morgan Andress, Caitriona Andress, Hannah Ruch, Sarah Ruch, Alana Andress, Kaytee Andress, Caroline Andress, Matthew Andress, Timothy Ruch, Mary Kate Andress, and Natalie Ruch.

Along with his wife, parents and daughter in law he was preceded in death by a brother Joel Andress.

His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Friends may call on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. 

Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
