Obituary of Natanael Isaac Ayala

Please note: Due to mechanical issues at Church, the evening viewing will be held at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428

Natanael Isaac Ayala, age 20, of Plymouth Meeting, PA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 29, 2023.

Born on February 3, 2003, he is the son of Pastor José E. "Ricky" Ayala and Annie I. (Guzman Marquez) Ayala.

Nate was born in Lebanon, PA, and welcomed into Columbia United Methodist Church. He was then raised in Conshohocken United Methodist Church and most recently attended New Hanover United Methodist Church.  He lived most of his life in the Conshohocken and Plymouth Meeting areas and was a 2021 graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.

He was a passionate baseball player and fan. He played baseball growing up in the Conshohocken Little League and continued playing in local men's leagues until his passing. Nate could always be depended on by any local team that needed a player. He was an avid Phillies fan and knew all the players by name and number.  A highlight of his childhood was singing the National Anthem before a Phillies game. Nate was seen looking around the stadium and gazing into the dugouts as his classmates sang. He also enjoyed trips to the Reading Fightin Phils.

Nate enjoyed playing basketball and video games with his friends. He was a luxury car enthusiast, and his favorite movie was “Cars”. He enjoyed drawing and art, wearing hoodies, basketball shorts, or sweatpants, and eating El Limon and Wawa.

Nate was passionate about music.  He played the drums since age 2 when he would sneak away to play on the drum set in the basement.  He loved country music, especially Luke Combs.  Most of all, Nate loved his family.  He was a devoted son who always inspired to be like his "Papi," a “Mama’s boy”, a loving little brother, beloved grandson and nephew, proud uncle to his “Little Buddy” Romeo, and devoted friend to many. He also took care of Luca, our family dog. Nate is immensely loved and will be dearly missed.

Note: There’s no need to wear a suit or formal attire at the “Celebration of Life” service scheduled for Thursday, July 6. As mentioned above, he loved wearing Hawaiian shirts for any occasion, and the family encourages everyone who plans to attend the service on Thursday, to wear one. Nate would have loved to see it, and the family would love to see that as well.

He is survived by his parents, Pastor José E. "Ricky" and Annie I. Ayala and two sisters, Jannineris and Italina Ayala, all of Plymouth Meeting. He is also survived by his grandparents, Abraham & Elena Ortiz, Carmen Marquez and Juan Guzmán; nephew, Romeo Ayala-Williams; and many cousins, aunts and uncles including

Tio Joey, Tio Enoc, Tio Macho, Tio Abey, and Tio Alex,

Titi Katty, Titi Lissy, Titi Yasmin, Titi Christin, Titi Elsa, and Titi Evelyn.
