Carole and I joined the Board of CARA in January 2000. She was so dedicated to the mission and vision of our Agency. There wasn't anything too small, or too large for Carole when it came to helping victims of Domestic and Sexual Violence. Whatever the need she was right there to gather the Board to accomplish the objective. Her advocacy helped to raise the money for CARA's Transitional Housing and so much more. Cicero wrote, " The time given us is short, but a life well spent is immortal." Carole was a force of nature and her legacy will live on in the hearts of CARA. Carole was so much more than words allow, she was my friend. My heartfelt sympathy, Claire T Galiano
