John was a close friend of mine and my family. We attended high school together and he frequently visited my parents, helped my father out with projects and gardening. I have many, many cherished memories of fun and adventure during the late 60's and early 70's. He was a crazy guy; always had a story to make you laugh and support when you needed it. I will miss his spirit, but always cherish his memory. May you rest in peace.
