Dorothy J. Speaker, 84, of Perkiomenville, PA passed away peacefully  Tuesday, February 27, 2024, along side her family. 

She was born in Norristown, Pa on July 24, 1939, the daughter of the late Frank and the late Jean (Schaub) Minnick.

Dorothy has lived in Perkiomenville since 1965, born at Riverview Hospital Norristown, Pa. Formerly of Spring Mill, Pa..

She was a member of St. Mary's RC Church of Schwenksville, Pa.

She attended Flourtown Elementary then Spring Mill Elementry and she graduated from Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School.  After graduation she went to work with Philadelphia National Bank for 14 years, then she retired to raise her family

Dorothy was a life long baseball fan from a young age and an avid Phildelphia Phillies Fan.  She enjoyed gardening her flowers and spending as much time as she could out side in her yard.  She loved animals and always looked forward to many birds and wildlife that came to visit her property and feeders. She also enjoyed completing Puzzle Books and sewing.

She was the wife of Kenneth J, Speaker. 

Survivors include Husband Kenneth Speaker of Perkiomenville, Son Kenneth C. Speaker of Perkiomenville, and her Sister Joan Perna of East Norriton.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM from St. Mary's RC Church, 40 Spring Mt Road, Schwenksville, PA.

Friends may call on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the church.

Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, Pa.
