My name is Jim O’Toole, I am Nancy Cifones husband. I’ve know uncle Doug since I was 19yrs old. We spent many days at Nana’s house laughing with Uncke Doug. He was the life of the party. I can still smell his pipe. Uncle Doug was a good guy. Always helping someone out. You will be sadly missed. Rest in peace buddy. Love, Jim O’Toole.

I am going to miss my dad so much. I’d give anything to hear his life story one more time- even though I’ve heard it told time and time again. I’m going to miss dancing with him… we never needed a reason to dance. Just put on some “hot” music and the dancing began. My heart hurts so much. I love you daddy ❤️

Doug was my special lifelong friend.We were teammates at ST. Joe's College basketball team; lifeguards in the North Wildwood Beach Patrol, and fellow writers aspiring to attract readers. Doug as always better than me.In basketball, he had a great two hand set shot that beat me in our 1-1 battles; with his strong stroke, he passed me in ocean swims;his writing was clever and beat me with his wit.
