I remember as a child visiting Aunt Jean with my Grandmother (Mabel) and my cousin Tracy many times. I think it was during those times when we would be returning from Gilbertsville that we visited her? It seems like another lifetime now. When we visited Aunt Jean's home we would play in the yard if it was warm out or in the basement during inclement weather while Nanny and Aunt Jean talked. Aunt Jean's house was in my eyes as a child a special fun far away place to explore. Aunt Jean was always happy and laughing as she told us stories of her many travels. To me, Aunt Jean was one of the most knowledgeable people I knew. She will surely be missed. My family and I send our love and sincerest condolences. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. I hope my Dad, Jack, was at heaven's door to greet Aunt Jean and show her what he has discovered in this new place. We pray that he and all the others who have gone before Aunt Jean are now gathered listening to those wonderful stories she has to share. Love, Karen (Lee) Lucas
