Our condolences to the family and Jacks wife whom we know as “Aunt Annie”. We always enjoyed talking to Jack about the many wonderful trips they took. Such a nice, personable and kind person that will be missed by many. Marilyn and Wally Brinkman

Dad taught me so much by his example. He was kind and honest; he spoke his truth with love. He always asked permission to give advice, saying “Do you mind if I give you some advice”? I always accepted, because he asked so gently, and because he was a very smart man with good advice! Dad taught me to make lists of pros and cons when making decisions, and to follow my head. While I was growing up, Dad did his fair share of the household chores, and did not have a chauvinistic bone in his body. When I was an adult, he gave me the gift of his time at our numerous one-on-one lunches, where he always picked up the tab. Dad was a self-proclaimed numbers person, and I will always be proud to be his “number 5” child. I will hold his memory and his influence in my heart like a treasure for the rest of my days. I love you Dad!

Our family lost an incredible man this week; my PopPop. To know him was to love him. He was an involved grandparent who suffered through our plays, concerts and sporting events. He played hours long, (sometimes days long) Monopoly tournaments with us as kids. PopPop took us on a chip factory tour, to concerts, WWF events and accompanied myself and my cousin on a personalized tour of his beloved Penn State. He was a quiet, generous and kind man who had a knack for good conversation. I'm already missing him tons, and I know my whole family is as well.
